Short and sweet

My six year old asked me if I would read him a story before bed the other night. I said sure and asked him which one. He asked for "The Troublesome Tooth." :) Of all the books in our house, he asked for mine. He sure knows how to charm his momma.

I also came across this quote by C.S. Lewis this week and, seeing as I've read a whole lot of children's books over the past eighteen years, I have to say I agree with Mr. Lewis.

“A children's story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children's story in the slightest.”
